01/03/24 Club Meeting – Gear and Strategies for Fly Fishing the Chesapeake Bay with Joseph Evans

At present, Joe is the only Orvis Endorsed fishing guide on the Chesapeake Bay.  He has also worked as a regional sales manager for Orvis, promotions manager for Bass Pro Shops, founding editor of PropTalk Magazine, information officer at the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Service, and Editor in Chief of Chesapeake Bay Magazine. Capt. Tom Weaver will join Joe and talk about the essential things we carry out in guided trips. 

At our January 3rd meeting, the door prize winner will have a choice of a fly box with 17 Clouser minnows for stripers and spotted sea trout,

or a fly box with 16 proven panfish flies for bluegill, crappie, white perch, etc.

There will also be a fly rod raffle. The raffle winner will have their choice of a TFO Lefty Kreh Signature Series II rod, IM6 graphite-
