CCA MD president, Dave Sikorski, was scheduled to be our guest speaker at this Wednesday’s meeting. Unfortunately, Dave is presently consumed with meetings on striped bass management as the Atlantic states refine their striped bass regulations for the coming season. Dave will be at those planning sessions in VA most of the day on Wednesday. He was concerned that he may not be able to return to MD in time for our meeting.
However, I am pleased to announced that Captain Chris Dollar has agreed to fill-in for Dave. Chris is a local guide and the Capital Gazette’s outdoor writer. He will address stiped bass and menhaden conservation issues in the Chesapeake. Chris is an excellent and knowledgeable speaker. I encourage all members to join us for what promises to be a very informative meeting.
