03/18/23 Saturday Hands On Session – Mark Bange’s “Bluegill: Lots of Fun in a Small Package”

Our very own Mark Bange, kayak fishing book author and the high and mighty official judge of the club’s Biggest Bluegill Tournament, will be leading our March 18 Saturday Hands-on Session at the clubhouse.  Mark will present and talk about “Bluegill: Lots of Fun in a Small Package”.  For those of you who have read Mark’s books about kayak fishing or participated in one of his truly outstanding kayak fishing/fly fishing classes hosted by the club, you know how good of a teacher and presenter Mark is.

Due to a schedule conflict, the originally scheduled “Everything You Need to Know About Fishing for Pickerel” to be hosted by Joe Bruce will be rescheduled for another date.  But no worries, you will see Joe hosting other Saturday Hands-on Sessions throughout the coming year.  I just don’t know why, but we Free State Fly Fishers just can’t get enough of learning from Joe!  Must be his good looks…and all those photos of Joe holding up huge fish while grinning in the cockpit of his kayak.
