Guys our trip on the 28th has been changed to a different location. We will be going to Unicorn Lake. One of our very good members went to Martinak State Park the other day and having fished several different baits and trying different methods came back without a single hit. Our friend is a very accomplished angler in all aspects and I value his input. There is nothing worse than going to a unproductive destination so lets go where the fish are biting! A few of our members went to Unicorn the other day and did very well on Pickerel as in double digits.
Trip Logistics:
We will meet at the usual shopping center at the bay bridge at 8:00am and leave at 8:30am
Directions: Take Rt #50 East across the bay bridge and continue on Rt# 301 North at the split. Turn right on MD Rt #-544 E Turn left on MD # 313 North go 0.9 miles and turn Right onto Fishing Lake LN. to the lake.
Species: Pickerel ( a chance to see who was paying attention to Joe Bruce on Saturday) LM Bass, Bluegill, Red Ear. Some leftover Stocked Trout below the dam. Kayak and Shore line fishing available
GEAR: 4-6wt Fly rods, Ultra light -Medium Spinning gear. Whatever flies you have confidence in for these available fish.
