Species: pickerel, LM. Bass White and Yellow Perch, Catfish
Flies: Clousers, Golden Retrievers, Woolly Buggers, Small and Medium Jigs and any other favorite fly you may have in a veriety of sizes. This is a new trip for most of us , me included, so I’m not sure what to expect so lets work or magic on this streatch of river that has lots of timber on the up river side and more open water on the down river side (remember you will be paddling against the flow coming back from down river) There is always a possibility for Shad to be in the river at this time of year also depending on water temps.
This outing will be a “Cold Water” outing we must keep safety first and foremost in our mind always and in all ways! Weather will be a big factor when the date draws near and we will cancel for Ice on the water and or High Winds as well as rain. It is everyone’s responsibility to be sure you dress for the weather and have personal safety gear with you and wear it at all times on the water. Before leaving you must have signed a release form provided by the club before you attending any club outing. Your Safety is Yours and Only Your Responsibility
