05/13/22 Streamside Fly Fishing 101 Class – Piney Run Reservoir

Joe Bruce’s “Largemouth Bass Fly Fishing 101 on Piney Run Reservoir”. Bring frogs, flukes and for the fly rod seedless hair bugs or poppers and if bluegilling bring your can’t miss flies. The fish would have already spawned and we be in the pads looking to fatten up. They will be shallow, sometime right against the shore. We will talk at the ramp.

Piney Run charges $10 to get in and another 10 for the boat. Streamers, bendbacks, hair bugs and poppers. The bluegill and crappie should be active so bring some panfish stuff if you plan to fish for some. –Joe Bruce
