06/05/24 Outing – Smithville Lake

Ok here we go! This is going to be a special trip in the KISMIF SERIES ( Keep It Simple Make It Fun) called ” The Pill Bottle” the only flies you can bring must fit in one empty Pill Bottle! For you younger guys in prime health reach out to the ” senior members” if you need an empty Pill Bottle to use as your tackle box ( at our stage in life we have plenty to go around)    The trip will be to Smithville Pond just off of rt 404 before the Delaware line. Turn right on Noble Rd and  follow it to the pond on the right. There is limited shoreline fishing near the dam .  There’s  parking and a boat/Kayak launch available.  The pond has Bluegill, Crappie, Pickerel and Bass.   The date is June 5th with a rain date of June 6th.  We will meet at the shopping center just past Anglers on rt 50 at 6:00 am and leave at 6:15 am ready or not.   This is the first in a series of ” KISMIF” events.
