October 2 Meeting Focuses on Sturgeon Our guest speaker will be Ashlee Horne of the MD Department of Natural Resources talking about “Sturgeon in the Chesapeake Bay, Their History and Future.” I know we can’t catch them on flies, but they are a unique part of the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem and their management effects the species we do spend a lot of time casting to.
Open to the public with no entrance fee, the club meetings will be held at the Free State Fly Fishers’ club house located at the Davidsonville Family Recreation Center, 3789 Queen Anne Bridge Road, Davidsonville, Maryland. Come and join us for an informational night.
