10/07/20 Meeting – Paul Spadaro, Magothy River Association President

Since its founding in 1946, the Magothy River Association (MRA) has been dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the water quality, plants, and wildlife of the Magothy River and its watershed. Mr. Spadaro will speak about MRA’s various conservation programs, including its successful restoration of the Magothy as prime western shore yellow perch spawning site. 

Local fisheries scientists thought the Magothy was done as a viable yellow perch spawning river.  The efforts of the MRA clearly proved them wrong.  Mr. Spadaro should have an entertaining story on that matter.
