October 5-6, 2019 Meet at the Bay Bridge Shopping center at 6:00am and depart at 6:15am
Those who are planning to go this weekend we will be meeting at the Shopping center before the Bay bridge at 6:00 am and leave at ,6:15 sharp. Our first spot will be on the Nanticoke river in Delaware at Woodland Ferry. We’re going to fish this for the first time as a group. Lunch tbd by the group then two other possible ponds to choose from depending on their water condition.
This is a 3 Ponds in two days trip!
SAFETY GEAR: PFD IS REQUIRED ON ALL BOAT, KAYAK, CANOE OR ANY TYPE OF WATERCRAFT! This is for your Safety and Required at most Ponds.
Oct. 5, 2019 Two Pond shuffle. First Pond is a new one Hearns Pond.
Species: Lm Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, White perch, Yellow Perch, Catfish, Pickerel
Lunch TBD locally.
2nd. Pond Concord Pond.
Species: LM. Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Pickerel, Snakeheads (I think)
Rods: 4-5-6-8 wt rods Basically what ever you have will work.
Flies: Top Water Poppers, Spiders, Ants, Clousers, Wooly Buggers, Golden Retrievers, any buggy looking or minnow looking Fly will work. If you have a favorite use it and see what happens.
Lay over, I can host myself and 3 more that wish to layover. First come first served!
October 6, 2019 Wegamons Pond in Milton Delaware
Species: Lm. Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Catfish, White and Yellow Perch, Pickerel.
Special Note: This pond has some Hybrid Bluegills that are HUGE! If anyone is going to catch the Tournament Leader Frank my guess it will come out of this pond!
Gear: Kayak, Jon Boat, Canoe, Paddle Boat. Limited Shoreline fishing is available.
