October 16: Joe Bruce’s “Making and Using Mini Sink-tips for Fly Lines” We all face times when we need to get our flies down deeper, but not too deep, to where the fish are, whether it’s a pond, lake, stream, river or tidal embayment. Joe Bruce, our fellow fly fisher with way too many ideas on how to improve our fly fishing experiences, will teach us how to make our own mini-sink tips. No need to buy them anymore, as Joe will bring the needed materials and the know-how to this session. Please bring with you, scissors, 3/0 black thread and a razor blade. Joe will discuss the good properties of using sink-tips for all fish and how they are an advantage in the water.
