03/03/22: Deadline to complete flies and ship to Luis Santiago.
Rules summary
1.The theme of the swap is Bass Flies. Two distinct patterns, meeting the requirement of 1 surface /1 subsurface. All participants will tie 11 of the same fly pattern for a total of 22 flies. Flies should the same pattern but color variations are acceptable.
- Each fly requires a toe tag. A small piece of paper attached to the bend of the hook with the tier and fly name on it. (This makes it easy for me to divide and send back flies). I would recommend reinforcing that tag with tape to avoid losing it in packing and shipping.
- Flies should be submitted in a crush proof box to the Swap Master. Altoids cans are perfect, pill bottles and condiment containers work well as well. (Please no expensive fly boxes unless you just want to get rid of it)
- The swap is done primarily via mail. Flies will need be shipped to me to arrive before cutoff date of March 3rd. A self-addressed stamped envelope will need to be included with your flies for me to return your package. If you choose to not send a self address stamped envelope please include $3.00 to cover stamp, and envelope. We can complete swaps at meeting and fly tying if you choose to skip the shipping but please note it is your responsibility to get it to me before the cutoff date. I will have the flies returned to you by March 10 as long as everyone meets the deadline.
